Your encrypted backups, wherever you want
An engine for encrypted and incremental backup powered by Duplicati, installed and maintained by DINAO. Protect your data to the storage of your choice — managed from our French servers, in compliance with GDPR.
What is Duplicati?
Duplicati is an open source backup software that encrypts, compresses, and sends your data to a wide variety of local and remote storage destinations. Designed to work with standard cloud services and remote servers, it emphasizes privacy and efficiency.
Its security relies on AES-256 encryption applied at the source, before any transfer: the storage provider receives only encrypted blocks that it cannot read, with the key remaining under the data owner's control. Backups are incremental and deduplicated: after an initial full backup, only the actually modified blocks are transmitted and stored once, saving space and bandwidth.
Duplicati supports a wide range of destinations — local storage, FTP/SFTP, WebDAV, S3, Backblaze B2, MinIO, and multiple cloud services. A web interface allows you to schedule tasks (cron), define retention and versioning policies, verify backup integrity, and easily restore files and full sets.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Can the storage provider read my data?
No. Duplicati encrypts your data with AES-256 on your instance before any transfer. The destination provider stores only encrypted blocks that it cannot decrypt — your key remains under your control.
Why incremental and deduplicated backups?
After the initial full backup, only modified blocks are transferred and stored once. This significantly reduces volume, duration, and bandwidth consumption.
Which destinations can I back up to?
Local storage, FTP/SFTP, WebDAV, S3, Backblaze B2, MinIO, and many compatible cloud services. You freely choose where your backups reside.
How do I restore my data?
Via the web interface, you browse available versions and restore files or full sets. DINAO can also assist with restoration upon request.
Where is the backup management hosted?
On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available data centers, in an isolated container. Your encryption keys remain under your control.
