What is Domoticz?
Domoticz is a lightweight and powerful open-source home automation system that centralizes the management of your sensors and IoT devices within a web interface accessible from any browser. It is suitable for both individual homes and commercial buildings.
The tool supports a wide range of protocols and hardware: Z-Wave, Zigbee, RFXCOM, 1-Wire, MQTT, the Linky meter via P1, and hundreds of market devices. It allows you to record temperatures, humidity, energy consumption, and sensor states, and then log them as graphs.
For automation, Domoticz offers a visual Blockly editor for simple scenarios and Lua, Python, and dzVents scripts for advanced logic, with triggers based on time, weather, presence, or any sensor. Notifications, webhooks, and container deployment make it a complete and sovereign home automation solution.
