What is Baby Buddy?
Baby Buddy is a free web application designed to help parents and caregivers track an infant's daily routine : sleep, meals (breastfeeding and bottle feeding), diaper changes, awake time (tummy time), and more. The goal is to get to know and anticipate the baby's needs without (too much) guessing.
The app records activities throughout the day and generates charts and statistics that highlight the child's rhythms and trends. It supports tracking multiple children and allows different caregivers — parents, nannies, family members — to contribute, each with their own access.
Lightweight, it works very well on a SQLite database, offers a responsive and multilingual interface thanks to the work of many translators, and comes with companion apps and a REST API, even with a Home Assistant add-on. It's an ideal self-hosted solution to keep this intimate data under your control.
