Your auto-optimized lakehouse, hosted in France
Manage your Iceberg, Paimon and Mixed-Hive tables with Apache Amoro, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your analytical data stays on our French servers — it never leaves for an American cloud.
What is Apache Amoro?
Apache Amoro (in incubation) is a Lakehouse management system built on open data lake formats. Designed to work with Flink, Spark and Trino compute engines, it brings self-managed and modular features to the Lakehouse to offer a ready-to-use data warehouse experience, and helps data platforms build an infrastructure-decoupled architecture, merging streaming and batch, and natively lake-oriented.
Its flagship feature, self-optimizing, continuously optimizes tables: compacting small files, merging change files and regularly purging expired files, to preserve query performance while reducing storage costs. Amoro supports different table formats — Iceberg, Paimon, Mixed-Iceberg and Mixed-Hive — to meet various needs.
Finally, it provides a unified catalog service for all compute engines, usable in conjunction with an existing metadata service such as Hive Metastore or AWS Glue, facilitating gradual adoption within an existing data platform.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What table formats does Amoro support?
Apache Iceberg, Apache Paimon, as well as Mixed-Iceberg and Mixed-Hive formats. Amoro provides a unified catalog and can rely on an existing Hive Metastore or AWS Glue.
Which compute engines does it work with?
Amoro integrates with Flink, Spark and Trino to offer a ready-to-use data warehouse experience, in a lake-native architecture decoupled from infrastructure.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your tables and metadata do not leave the territory.
Are technical skills required?
Operations (installation, Optimizers, updates, monitoring) are handled by DINAO. Your data teams retain control over catalogs, tables and engines via the console and APIs.
What does auto-optimization bring?
Amoro continuously maintains query performance and reduces storage costs by compacting small files, merging change files and deleting expired files, without manual intervention.
